Associate Attorney - Legal Services Division

Robert was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to obtaining his undergraduate degree, Robert spent nearly a decade working in Hospitality at several well-known restaurants in Columbia. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. Keeping his roots local, Robert attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. While attending the School of Law, Robert served as Articles Editor for the Journal of International Business and Law; Treasurer for the legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta; and worked as a law clerk for a local Plaintiff's Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation firm. Upon obtaining his Juris Doctorate, Robert served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Chief Administrative Judge for Common Pleas, The Honorable Walton J. McLeod, IV, in the 11th Circuit. Following the completion of his Judicial Clerkship, Robert served Richland County's disenfranchised population as an Assistant Public Defender under the 5th Circuit Public Defender. After several years working in public service, Robert transferred his skillset to private practice and relocated to Myrtle Beach, where he advocates for clients in active and pre-litigation matters.
